Moosomin Arts Board
In 2023 a group of passionate artists joined forces in Moosomin, Saskatchewan to create a space where people could come together to learn and create. They dreamed of a place where artists of all ages could work together to learn new techniques and practice their craft. And thus, with the help of their supportive community, the Moosomin Visual Arts Centre was born, a vibrant community venue that, they hope, will inspire and enrich the lives of all those who walk through our doors.
They have made their home in an historic church building. Built in 1893, St. Alban’s Anglican Church now shares its space with the Moosomin Visual Art Centre. While the arts centre occupies the church basement, hall and narthex, the sanctuary of St. Albans is still a welcoming worship space where morning prayer lay services are held most Sundays.
